Know the baggage rules
Understand baggage allowances
Check baggage allowances with your airline and pack in accordance with luggage restrictions. Please be mindful of the following:
Packing Your Bags
Each airline has different sizes and volume requirements for baggage. Please contact your airline directly for specific requirements and information prior to your flight.
Carry-on Baggage
Each airline has its own policy around the size and number of carry-on bags that are permitted on a flight. Examples of carry-on baggage include laptop bags, backpacks, purses or briefcases. All carry-on baggage is screened by airport security at the security checkpoint. For more information on size and weight limits, contact your airline directly. If your carry-on bag is too big or heavy, you may be required to check it.
Checked Baggage
Each airline has its own rules around the checked bag size, weights, and number of bags allowed for each traveler. Many airlines charge for checked baggage or limit the number of bags you can take onboard. Each checked bag goes through a screening process and may be opened and searched as part of this process.
Lost Baggage Claim
Every precaution is taken by the airline to ensure the safe arrival of your bag. If you experience a problem with delayed or lost baggage, visit your airline’s baggage claim area in the Arrivals Hall. You may also contact your airline directly for information.
