Don’t Pack a Pest
Imported plants and plant products—such as fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, nuts, and seeds—can carry pests or diseases that threaten crops, livestock, and the environment, putting a vital sector of Grenada’s economy at risk.
To prevent the introduction of harmful exotic and invasive pests and diseases, all passengers entering Grenada must declare agricultural items on their arrival card and present them to an Agricultural Officer for inspection. Similarly, meet and animal products must also be inspected.
Any item found to be substandard or contaminated with harmful pathogens or toxins will be confiscated or destroyed to protect public health and food security.
For your convenience, disposal bins are available for travelers to safely discard food and other high-risk items before completing the biosecurity process. Your cooperation helps keep Grenada safe and sustainable.
