About the Grenada Airports Authority

The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) is a statutory body established under the Airports Authority Act (Revised Laws of Grenada, 1990). Operating under the Ministry of Infrastructure and Physical Development, it is responsible for the management, development, and oversight of Grenada’s airports in the national interest.

GAA’s Head Office is located at Maurice Bishop International Airport (MBIA), Point Salines. The Authority is responsible for the management, control, and supervision of the operation of three airports:

To be a leader in providing world-class airport facilities and services in the Caribbean.

Objectives

To provide adequate capacity for the aircraft and their passengers, air cargo and vehicle movements in a safe environment.
To provide for and facilitate passengers, operators and staff convenience.
To ensure continued financial viability.
To ensure that physical development plans are flexible allowing for future expansion.

Mandate

The GAA is committed to the advancement of Grenada’s aviation sector by overseeing the development, modernization, and maintenance of airport facilities. Our primary objectives include:
