Additional Travel Tips
-
Verify Destination Requirements: Check the regulations for your destination country.
Importation of Dogs and Cats into Grenada - Check Airline Policies Before Departure: Different airlines have varying rules for pet carriers, documentation, and fees. Before traveling, ask your airline about required veterinary papers, kennel sizes, and restrictions. Arrange vaccinations and travel documents well in advance.
- Acclimate your pet to its carrier several days before travel.
- Label the carrier with your pet’s name and feeding instructions.
- Stay Calm and Prepared: Carry essentials such as a leash, pet carrier, water bowl, and treats. Airports can be overwhelming for pets, so a little preparation goes a long way.
- Inside the Terminal: With the exception of service animals, pets inside the airport terminal must be kenneled and ready for travel.
- Outside Public Areas: Pets must be leashed or kept in carriers. Please clean up after them and bring your own disposal supplies.
